What organizations are you affiliated with? Metis-Cree (through my father), Director of Child and Family at Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood House, Board Member with Check Your Head, Facilitator with 4Rs, volunteer with Poverty Free BC
What motivated you to join the VFPC? Committed to looking at the strengths and needs of our urban indigenous community, the role of access particularly for low income families and wanting our city’s food work to be relevant and just.
What are your areas of expertise in the food system? (and/or) What are your skills? Facilitation, research, grant-writing, training
Tell us one interesting fact about yourself; (and/or) What is one of your proudest food system-related accomplishments? Through my work bringing an increase and growing practice of food justice work.
