What motivated you to join the VFPC? I have a background in public policy/urban planning as well as community development and so I really enjoy playing a role linking community wisdom with policy-making processes. I feel especially drawn to issues related to food justice, the right to food, and poverty.

What are your areas of expertise in the food system? (and/or) What are your skills? Food (in)security, community development, social policy and planning, facilitation, food justice and the right to food, Neighbourhood Food Networks, urban farming, community consultation and engagement, teaching, listening.

Tell us one interesting fact about yourself; (and/or) What is one of your proudest food system-related accomplishments? One of my proudest food system accomplishments was getting the Westside Mobile Food Market and Plenty Campaign up and running when I worked at the Westside Food Collaborative and Kitsilano Neighbourhood House.
